Walgreens, August 2, 2018

It's been over a year since I posted, but I was SUPER excited to go to Walgreens today because of the two coupons they sent to me (well, actually my card):  get 5000 points with a $25 purchase and get 7000 points with a $20 beauty club purchase.

I also love that coupons are mostly digital now. I got this deal with 0 physical coupons; they were all loaded electronically to my Walgreens card.

Regular price: $68.29
Sale price: $45.53
Out of pocket: $38.53 + $2.82 tax = $41.35
Earned: 30,227 points which (when considering 40k points = $50) = $37.78

Net cost = $41.35 - $37.78 = $3.57

Note: If I hadn't bought the cereal (curious) and the Comet (needed), the total would've been less than $1.
