CVS & Kroger, January 17

I got some great deals at Kroger and CVS today, so I figured I'd share.  You DO know that I don't share every single trip to the grocery store, right? I don't even post all the great trips, like last week's Kroger run where I spent $1.88 on $19.43 of groceries.  I figure you only want to see the most impressive trips.

Kroger:
Kashi GoLean Crunch: $2.99 - $3 = -$0.01
Gumbo Veggies: $0.88
2 x Colgate Toothpaste: $1*2 - $0.50*2 (mfr) - $0.50*2 (doubled) = 0
5 x Carefree Liners: $1*5 - $0.50*5 (mfr/IP) - $0.50*5 (doubled) = 0
--------------------
Net cost = $0.87 + $0.17 tax = $1.04

CVS:
Duracell 4pk AA batteries: $2.99 - $2 (mfr) = $0.99
Chestal cough syrup: $5
3 x Revlon eye shadow: $1.37*3 - $2*2(mfr) =  $0.11
1 x Revlon Beyonce eye shadow: $2.12 - $2(mfr) = $0.12
L'Oreal eye shadow: $2.12 - $2 = $0.12
Listerine Total Care mouthwash: $3.79 - $2 (mfr) = $1.79
Listerine Zero mouthwash: $3.79 - $2 (mfr) - $3 (CVS) = -$1.21
Beauty Pass 10% discount: -$0.81
-------------------------------------------
Total: $6.11 + $0.04 tax  = $6.15
Paid with $5 EB & $1.15 gift card
Got back $5 EB (Chestal), $2 EB (Listerine) = $7EB
Net profit: $0.85

So my shopping for the day cost $1.04 - $0.85 = $0.19
