I'm not NOT posting great deals; I just haven't shopped much the past few weeks. I will let you know the few things I HAVE purchased at drugstores lately, so you can know what kind of prices I pay for things:
Walgreens on Saturday:
Biore face strips 14 ct $5.99
Biore pore unclogging scrub $5.99 - $5.99 (Bogo coupon)
Paid $5.99 + tax oop
Got back $5 RR for buying 2 Biore products
Used that $5 RR to buy:
2 x Sunday newspapers $4
Cheese stick $0.59
Carefree liners $0.99 - .50 = $0.49
Paid $0.08 oop
Got back $1 RR for Carefree
CVS on Sunday:
Aveeno lotion $10 - $10 (mfr coupon for free lotion)
Aveeno moisturizer + SPF $15 - $2.50
Candy bar $0.50 - $2 (CVS coupon for $2 off any candy/beverage purchase)
Paid $11 in EB and $0 oop
Got back $11 in EB ($1 for green bag tag, $10 for Aveeno)
Plus I'll get back $2.50 via Beauty Club for spending $25 on beauty products
CVS today:
Bag of fake grass $0.99
Egg decorating kit $1.99
2 x Green Bag Tags $1.98
Paid with $5 EB and $0 oop
Got back $4.97 EB for all items purchased
Plus I got $5 EB from CVS Beauty Club.
What I do plan to get later in the week at CVS (or rainchecks for) are children's Aquafresh toothpaste and toothbrush. Those are on sale for $1 and there was a $1 coupon for each in Sunday's paper. I will be able to get 6 of each for free.
